Abseil - North Queensland Canyon Basecamp

The plan is to camp or cabin on the beach at the Tasman Holiday Park - Rollingstone.

Depending on weather and our energy levels, we select which canyons to explore as the week progresses. On the list so far:

Jourama camping area is near the falls. Can only book up to 6mths in advance. $7.25 op per night.

As with most canyon events, it is assumed you select canyons which match your ability/experience. Being able to 'self-rescue' is a requirement for all.

You also need to be able to swim, and be agile on rocks, possibly slippery, with your canyon gear in a backpack. It's North QLD, but bring a 2/3mm wetsuit just in case.

Please make your own bookings at the holiday park. Preferably we all stay together for planning purposes.
